Weekly Gatherings

Bozeman UMC hosts an ecumenical youth ministry to provide programming for our students from our own church, St. James Episcopal Church, and Pilgrim Congregational UCC. We are an inclusive and energetic youth group that encourages exploration of personal faith through connection, service, worship, and tradition. Dinner is provided at each service.

In addition to Sunday evening youth group, we host and participate a variety of events throughout the year. Keep an eye out for retreats and activities in the Upcoming Events section below!

Youth Missions

El Salvador 2027

As part of Bozeman UMC’s collaboration with the Wilkinson Family Foundation, Rin will be leading a team of youth on a mission trip to support education in El Salvador in the Summer of 2027. This trip will take much preparation, planning, and fundraising. While students must be going into 9th grade or above to travel with the group internationally, we strongly encourage all of our students to participate in fundraising to support the team and help us purchase supplies and equipment.

Spanish fluency is not a requirement to attend since we will be accompanied by a translator, but we do encourage students interested in going to learn what they can through school, software, World Language Initiative classes, practice with others, or whatever other resource available. The more Spanish you know, the more you’ll be able to connect with the people you meet!
