2007 Thanksgiving and Christmas Giving and Ministry Opportunities

The Mitten Tree	Blackfeet Parish Christmas Giving November 26 through December 31 Leave your donations of new articles of warm winter outerwear for children and youth in Heart Butte in the Friendship Room on or under the Mitten Tree. The donations will be distributed after Christmas to this community. (Please, no used clothing.)
Advent Event & Christmas Decorating Party	Sunday, December 2; 11:45 p.m. We'll share a lunch and then enjoy an afternoon of crafts, fellowship, and a decorating frenzy! Volunteers are needed to help the children make Christmas gifts and decorations; upstairs and outside, a team of volunteers is needed to decorate the entire church in preparation for the Love INC Christmas Open House on December 8-9. BUMC is the featured church on the tour this year.
Love, INC Christmas Tour of Homes	Saturday, December 8th and Sunday, 9th; 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. We'll open the doors of our church to the community for this Love INC fundraising event. We are looking for someone (or a team of two) who would like to help gather and organize volunteers to be on hand for the tour of our Sanctuary and selected Sunday School classrooms. Figgy Pudding Special Offering	Wednesday, December 12 The offering collected at this annual Christmas musical celebration will go to the BUMC Helping Hand Ministry.
Christmas Eve Special Offering	Recipients will be one local and one foreign ministry opportunity, yet to be determined.
